A garden of three sections: a traditional garden, an area of 'transition' leading to 'wilderness' where nature is given priority.
People are able to submit photographs (max 8) for display between 1st – 30th June 2020. Photographs can be submitted / accepted between 1st – 14th June as this will then give me time to up-load them (depending on how many people take part).
Local residents, Major Tom and Mrs Rosemary Hancock, have kindly offered a £25 Garden Gift Voucher as a prize for the best garden photograph. It is hoped that Mr Mark Tsakarisianos of Gotherington Nurseries will be able to act a Judge – he has given a positive verbal response but is obviously incredibly busy now that garden-centres are able to re-open for business.
Please note that it is a competition with a focus on the garden / veg plot / hanging basket / flower bed content as opposed to the quality of the photograph itself – that is, although the winning photograph would need to be of good viewing quality, it’s more to do with gardens as opposed to being photographer-of-the-year!
The photographs will be identified with your name and general location, for example:
Rosie Green or R Green, Sudeley View (as per previous blog-post).
